The Problem We Are Solving

The System Was Never Built For Our Children to Win

W.E.B. Du Bois studied Philadelphia's Black community in 1899. He documented the booby traps. In 2026 β€” the same traps are in place. Weed legal. Guns easy. Our children entertained instead of educated. Deaf, dumb, and distracted by design. This is not an accident. This is chess. And we are finally playing.

🎯

Miseducation by Design

Carter G. Woodson said it in 1933: the system teaches Black children to admire the system that oppresses them. That curriculum is still running.

πŸ’°

Financial Illiteracy as a Weapon

Banks, credit, ownership, generational wealth β€” none of it is taught in schools designed for our children to fail. Poverty is taught by omission.

πŸ›οΈ

No HBCU Pipeline in the Community

The greatest Black educational institutions ever built β€” and most families don't know how to access them. We close that gap starting at age 10.

Our Full Ecosystem

One Foundation. Four Programs. One Mission.

40 Acres Educational Foundation is the nonprofit umbrella. Every branch has its own domain and audience β€” but they all feed the same root.

HOW OUR ECOSYSTEM WORKS

One Ecosystem So Our Kids Are Protected, Educated, and Prepared for Ownership

Every piece you see here is built so money, knowledge, and protection circle back into Black and Brown families in our city β€” not out of them.

Nadashy Ecosystem β€” Education, Investment, Rights, Community, Legacy

This is not a company chart. It is a map of how we use investment, curriculum, and legal tools to serve your child and your household. Nadashy Investment Group exists so our nonprofit, 40 Acres Educational Foundation, can afford scholarships, summer school seats, and materials β€” not to sell you anything. 40 Acres & a Summer School, 40 Acres & a School, and Black N Blue in 215 all work together to support one thing: your family's survival, growth, and long-term wealth.

πŸ“š

Education that honors our story

40 Acres & a Summer School and our Liberation Curriculum give students real history, mental health tools, and financial literacy built for Black and Brown youth and their parents.

πŸ›‘οΈ

Protection when it matters

Black N Blue in 215 teaches our rights and connects families to resources, so our kids and parents are not left alone in the system.

βš™οΈ

An engine that fuels the work

Nadashy Investment Group is the operational hub that helps fund programs and keep costs low or free for families in public housing and across the city.

Every part of this ecosystem is designed so our community's money, knowledge, and power return to our children.

The 10 Pillars of Liberation Education

Mastery-based learning built around the African-American experience. Each pillar builds on the last. Click any pillar to explore the lessons inside.

1
Identity & Self-Knowledge
Who Are You Before the World Defines You?

This is Pillar One because without identity, every other lesson is hollow. Our children are taught shame before they are taught pride. We reverse that on day one. This pillar connects to ancient African kingdoms, the origins of civilization, and the psychological warfare of American miseducation.

3
Financial Literacy & Economic Power
Budgeting, Credit, Investing & Ownership

The wealth gap is not an accident β€” it is a curriculum gap. Banks vs. credit unions. Building credit at 16. Homeownership. Generational wealth. We use the Summer School pay structure as a real-world financial lesson β€” because $5,300 is real money, and we teach students what to do with it.

4
Power Literacy
How Policing, Courts, Leases & Voting Actually Work

You cannot navigate a system you don't understand. Our children encounter police, landlords, employers, and courts without ever being taught the rules. Know your rights. Read the lease. Understand the ballot. This is survival knowledge β€” the kind they will not teach in school.

5
Entrepreneurship & Business Building
From Madam C.J. Walker to Black Wall Street β€” Build It Again

Our people have always built. They built Black Wall Street from nothing β€” and it was destroyed because it worked too well. This pillar teaches the history of Black entrepreneurship and the practical steps to build something of their own.

6
Leadership & Decision-Making
Voice, Presence & the Courage to Lead

Leadership is not a personality β€” it is a learned skill. Malcolm X transformed himself and became one of the greatest orators our people ever produced. This pillar gives children the tools to lead with courage in any room.

7
Health, Wellness & Mental Strength
What They Put in Our Path & How We Stay Strong

Weed is legal. Guns are easy. Two things designed to keep our communities deaf, dumb, and stuck. This pillar teaches the truth about what gets placed into Black and Brown communities by design β€” and gives children real tools for strength of mind and body.

8
Critical Thinking & Media Literacy
Don't Believe the Hype β€” Question Everything

The news is not neutral. Social media is not free. The algorithm is not your friend. We teach children to question what they see, research what they hear, and think for themselves. Carter G. Woodson warned us. We listened.

9
Community, Service & Collective Power
The Village Raises the Child. We Rebuild the Village.

Collective economics, mutual aid, and community organizing are survival strategies that have always worked for our people. This pillar gives children the tools to be contributors to their community, not just consumers.

10
HBCU Pathway & Higher Education
Your Destiny Was Never a Dead End

Howard. Morehouse. Spelman. Tuskegee. FAMU. Fisk. These institutions were built specifically for our children β€” and most families don't know how to access them. This final pillar is the summit: a complete HBCU pathway guide. We start at age 10. They arrive fully prepared, fully proud.

40 Acres Liberation Curriculum

Pillar 1: Ethics

Before you can build wealth, lead a community, or change the world β€” you must know who you are and what you stand for. Ethics is not a philosophy class. It is the operating system of a free person.

Survival First. Then Success.
What Is Ethics?

The Science of Right and Wrong

Ethics is the study of how to live a good life. It asks: What is right? What is wrong? What do I owe the people around me?

Every decision you make β€” how you treat a friend, whether you tell the truth, whether you take the easy road or the right one β€” is an ethical decision.

This curriculum does not give you answers. It gives you a framework. Because the world will throw you hard choices, and you need to already know who you are before those moments arrive.

"The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any."

β€” Alice Walker
The Nguzo Saba

Ethics in Action

Real Decisions

These are not hypotheticals. These are choices our young people face every day.

β†’

Do you tell on a friend who is doing something wrong?

β†’

Do you take the shortcut that hurts someone else?

β†’

What do you owe your community?

β†’

What does loyalty really mean?

β†’

When everyone around you is making the wrong choice β€” what do you do?

There is no multiple choice here.

Ethics lives in the gray. We teach you how to walk through it with your head up and your values intact.

Historical Ethics

What Our Ancestors Chose

Every lesson in this curriculum connects to someone who came before you β€” and made the harder, better choice.

✊

Dr. Rebecca J. Cole

…chose to serve the poor when no one was watching and no one was paying.

This was an ethical choice. Not an accident.

✊

Clifford Brown

…chose excellence when the world told him his life had limits.

This was an ethical choice. Not an accident.

✊

Rear Admiral Lillian Fishburne

…chose to keep going when every door said β€œnot you.”

This was an ethical choice. Not an accident.

✊

Nnamdi Azikiwe

…chose his people over comfort.

This was an ethical choice. Not an accident.

"Now it is your turn."

Your Ethics Statement

The Most Important Promise You'll Ever Make

At the end of this curriculum, every student writes their own Personal Code of Ethics β€” five sentences. Signed. Kept.

Not for a grade.
For yourself.

"Because the most important promise you will ever make is the one you make to the person in the mirror."

This is where your foundation begins.

The Liberation Education
Mental Health Initiative

Black youth deserve to heal. We are building the infrastructure to make that happen.

Mental health is not a luxury. It is not a white people thing. It is not weakness. For Black and Brown youth in the Greater Philadelphia area, access to culturally grounded, trauma-informed mental health support is not just rare β€” it is nearly nonexistent.

That ends here.

The Liberation Education Mental Health Initiative grows directly from Pillar 7 of our 10 Pillars of Liberation Education. It is the expansion of our framework into a fully operational mental health support system β€” one that serves Black and Brown youth ages 10–24 with the tools, resources, and community connection they deserve.

Mental health awareness workshops
Peer wellness circles
Trauma-informed curriculum
Professional care linkages
Community healing events
Parent and caregiver engagement

This initiative is coming. We are currently seeking funding and partners to launch. If you believe Black youth deserve to heal β€” we want to hear from you.

FOR FUNDERS & PARTNERS

The Nadashy Ecosystem: One Engine, Four Community Assets

This structure is not about stacking companies. It is a design that lets us turn investment, curriculum, and legal tools into protection, education, and real opportunity for Black and Brown families in and around Philadelphia.

Nadashy Ecosystem β€” Education, Investment, Rights, Community, Legacy
Educational Flagship

40 Acres Educational Foundation

Our nonprofit hub that houses the Liberation Curriculum, summer school pilot, and HBCU‑prep learning paths for youth and families. It is the entity through which grants are applied for, donors give, and credibility is built with schools, HBCUs, and community partners.

Community Education

40 Acres & a Summer School / 40 Acres & a School

Short‑cycle and year‑round programs delivering Black history, mental health, and financial literacy in a format that works for families in public housing and working parents. These programs turn the curriculum into real classrooms, stipends, and clear outcomes for students and caregivers.

Legal Empowerment

Black N Blue in 215

A rights‑education project and app that helps families understand police contact, court systems, and city processes so our kids and parents are not navigating them alone. It closes the gap between what the law says on paper and what our community experiences on the street.

Operational Hub

Nadashy Investment Group

The for‑profit engine focused on capital, deals, and business activity. It is intentionally kept separate from the foundation's charitable funds, while its success is designed to amplify program reach and sustainability rather than compete with them.

In practice, this means charitable dollars flow through 40 Acres Educational Foundation, while Nadashy's business activity helps us scale β€” so every year we can serve more families, fund more seats, and deepen the impact of the curriculum, not just keep the lights on.

For the Culture. For the People. For God.

Join the Foundation. Help Build What's Missing.

This is not charity. This is infrastructure. Every dollar, every hour, every conversation about 40 Acres is a brick in something permanent. This thing is chess. Not checkers. We are building what the system refused to build for us.
